Servius Tullius
Latin Project by Alicia, Amy, Jane, Jessica, Julia, Julie. Section 1
Tarquinius Superbus walked into the Senate house and forcibly sat down on Servius' throne and called all the senators to come. The senators knew that since Servius Tullius was old, there was no way he would win against Tarquinius, so they followed his orders. When Servius Tullius came in, he started to argue with Tarquinius, and then Tarquinius threw Servius Tullius down the senate steps. He was then killed by two of Tarquinius' men, and run over by his older daughter Tullia. The street where he was killed was then known as Vicus Sceleratus, meaning "the street of wickedness." He reigned over Rome for 44 years.
